Peasholm Café is situated in the beautiful grounds of Peasholm Park, North Bay in Scarborough. Offering a high-class visitor experience the park offers fantastic facilities for all the family to enjoy, from beautiful system of streams and waterfalls to boating and mini golf, as well as the famous Naval Warfare Battle and many open-air events throughout the warm summer months.

We will soon be opening our café and this is where you come in, we’re looking for Catering Assistants to join our team in creating a warm and welcoming environment where our visitors can relax and enjoy the refreshments we have to offer.

The role

We are looking for people committed to providing a high level of customer service and enjoy being part of a team. As our Catering Assistant you will serve customers and wait on tables, assist with food preparation/cooking through service periods, you will ensure tables are kept clean and available for customers. You may, at times be required to operate and follow till procedures.

Peasholm Café will be open 1 April–30 September. You will work various shifts and you will be required to work weekends and Bank Holidays, Core opening hours will between 10:00 am and 5.00 pm, however there may also be some evening work to facilitate parties and functions at the venue.

What you will bring

If you are customer focused, with great communication skills both verbal and written, and have the motivation to learn then we would love to hear from you!

Ideally, you will have experience of working in a catering environment both front and back of house, but we welcome all applicants as full training will be given.
