Ironing and laundry assistant

Ironing and laundry assistant required.

One of our long term employees is sadly leaving us due to relocating to another part of Yorkshire and therefore our busy laundry requires a new team member to join our existing team. Our laundry is based in premises in Beverley and the role includes both hand ironing and using a commercial ironing roller plus dealing with customers at the reception desk. Other tasks associated with the laundry will also be required from time to time such as loading and unloading the commercial washing machines and tumble dryers.

No previous experience is necessary as full training will be given.

The business provides regular services for both domestic and commercial customers and we do have “low” and “high” seasons. You will be required to work 6 hours per day in the low season and up to 8 hours per day in the high seasons, 5 days per week – Monday to Friday.

Salary: From £10.46 per hour
