Position Overview & Specifications

Arrangements for Trainees under Annex 21 of the Agenda For Change Terms and Conditions

1 Year Trainee – 1st Year salary 75% of the maximum salary

2 Year Trainee – 1st Year salary 70% of the maximum salary and 2nd Year 75% of the maximum salary


An opportunity for a Trainee has arisen within the Ledger Control Section, Financial Services, based at the Administration Building, Falkirk Community Hospital.

As part of a small team you will provide support with the processing of financial ledgers. Provide clerical and administrative support to the Management Accountants through the maintenance, development and production of financial reports.

Candidates should possess excellent written and oral communication skills, you should have a good working knowledge of spreadsheets and word processing packages.

Ideally you will be educated to HNC level or equivalent.
