The Orthopaedic outpatient department are looking for an experienced Health Care Support Worker, with good communication skills and the ability to work flexibly around the department, to join our nursing team. We have a reputation for being friendly and welcoming, whilst operating in a busy environment.
The Orthopaedic Outpatients Department in Glasgow Royal Infirmary delivers a varied range of care for patients including those who have new fractures/injuries, Pre-Operative patients for trauma and elective Orthopaedic surgery and patients in their post op period for wound care.
The unit comprises of 60 Trauma Receiving, 27 Elective beds, Fracture and Orthopaedic clinics, this post is rotational through all the clinics in the department and previous surgical experience would be an advantage. We are a close multidisciplinary team and work collaboratively across the unit.
