Services are delivered from two linked District General Hospitals Crosshouse (539 beds) and Ayr (353 beds) within a single medical imaging directorate.
The successful applicants will join the existing complement of 21 Radiologists in Ayrshire. At present each hospital operates its own on-call rota. The delivery of the on-call service is currently under review. There is a well-established outsourcing overnight on-call to a nighthawk service.
