Position Overview & Specifications
We are looking confident and organised individuals with excellent interpersonal and communication skills to provide clerical / reception / telephone support to the Sexual Health Service, which is mainly based between Whyteman’s Brae Hospital, Kirkcaldy and Queen Margaret Hospital, Dunfermline.
You should possess good keyboard and IT skills including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. Training in specialist Sexual Health IT system (NaSH) will be provided, experience using TrakCare would be an advantage.
Previous clerical experience is essential along with the ability to work as a part of a team. You should also be able to work using your own initiative with minimum supervision. The ability to deal with the public, along with an awareness of patient confidentiality and handling of patient information is required.
You will be required to work flexibly, including provision of evening clinic cover. The ability to travel across Fife is essential in order to provide cover to the various Sexual Health clinics within the Health & Social Care Partnership.
For the fixed term post, applications on a secondment basis will be considered providing you have prior agreement from your current line manager.
