Who We Are

What You'll Do

We require an experienced and motivated administrator to provide a business administration function within the Psychology Directorate. You will provide high quality and proactive administrative support across a range of workstreams within the Directorate, with a key focus working with the Dementia, Physical Health & Supervision workstreams. The post will also provide cross cover across the Directorate as required.

Key tasks will include but are not restricted to:

  • supporting training at all stages including planning, delivery and evaluation. Training can take place virtually or face to face;
  • providing meeting support including preparing agendas and high-quality minutes;
  • proactive diary, email, and file (SharePoint) management;
  • provision of all aspects of administrative support to workstream programme teams;
  • first point of contact for administrative queries relating to a number of educational workstream areas;
  • entering data to databases and spreadsheets to a high level of accuracy and efficiency, and supporting data analysis as required;
  • carrying out a wide range of administrative tasks and providing cover for colleagues.

What You'll Bring

Educated to HND level or equivalent (preferably in a Business Administration related field), you will have significant administrative experience and be able to use this to solve problems creatively, make judgements, and support the directorate’s key functions. You will have advanced organisational skills with the ability to prioritise effectively and meet deadlines. An ability to work independently but also with others whilst balancing a range of competing priorities will be essential. Working experience of the full range of Microsoft office packages is essential, including Teams, Excel and Word.

You will bring excellent interpersonal and communication skills to the role, as well as demonstrating an ability to organise work flexibly within a multi-stakeholder/multi-deadline environment.
