AWS Cloud Engineer

We operate globally, supporting training programs in Asia, Europe, North America and Latin America and we partner with leading organisations such as Fitch Learning, Microsoft and Salesforce.

Responsibilities:

This particular role is to work with the business to help to expand our portfolio of APIs and front end applications. Some of which are used by customers and some of which are used internally.

You will be interfacing to the business and also to other technical staff such as technical instructors who will be able to communicate requirements to you.

Our applications are mostly deployed to AWS and take advantage of multiple different AWS services where applicable. They are also deployed in multiple regions and using multiple AWS accounts.

Since you will be working for a training organisation, there will be many opportunities to expand your knowledge and develop your skills.

Experience and Qualifications:

• Experience of working with AWS building and deploying serverless solutions – specifically services around Lambda, Cloudformation, API Gateway, Cognito, IAM, S3, EC2
• Understanding of modern CI/CD processes
• Strong Experience with Python and NodeJS/TypeScript
• Experience with Git and appreciation of basic Git workflows
• Experience with React
• Experience in designing and consuming REST APIs
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker
