A fantastic opportunity arises for an enthusiastic Designer (Events & Exhibitions) to work for a worldwide exhibition stand contractor. The client has been prospering within the exhibition industry for over 30 years, delivering a full exhibition service within various sectors, including travel, pharmaceutical, I.T, energy, financial, automotive, aerospace, retail and the list goes on.
The client specialises in designing, building, and managing both modular and custom exhibition stands globally. They have been building over 4000 stands across 160 cities and aiming to grow further. This is an incredible opportunity to work with several icons and clients as well as showcasing your designs overseas. If you love travelling, this would be the ticket.
An ideal candidate will work in 3D, designing exhibition stands, as well as 2D, designing graphics for the structures. You will produce CAD working drawings and take designs from the conceptual phase right through to finished structure. Candidates should be able to use Studio Max, Auto CAD, and Adobe Suite.
Your responsibilities will also cover an element of project-management. You will be liaising with stand builders, project managers, workshop managers, to ensure every exhibition stand is built to the perfect specification, all the while maintaining and building close working relationships with clients to live up to the fantastic reputation out client has for great customer service. This role will require the individual to travel and manage projects onsite globally therefore must have a full and valid passport.
