Join us as a Digital Innovation Junior Product Owner

  • We’ll look to you to future proof the bank through the creation, development, trial and scaling of innovative new-to-market digital propositions, products and experiences
  • You’ll create innovative and relevant solutions to meaningful customer problems, using customer insight to power a range of ideation, design and innovation methodologies

What you'll do

As a Digital Innovation Junior Product Owner, you’ll be supporting the design of customer experiences, technologies, services and processes which deliver against product strategies, and keep customers safe and secure.

You’ll identify innovation opportunities by supporting the development and use of market research, first and third hand customer research and gap analysis to identify customer insights and apply them through a relevant innovation framework.

On top of this, you’ll be:

  • Working through Agile methodologies to develop and release value to customers
  • Protecting customers and the bank by supporting the effective identification, escalation and resolution of risks and issues, and completing necessary governance to evidence compliance with our policies and regulation
  • Working with teams to use service and experience design methodologies to design the end-to-end service and user experience, making sure that approaches are fully validated with users
  • Developing ideas for novel propositions, products or features through ideation techniques, and defining and elaborating the value proposition, key features and typical journeys
  • Working with stakeholders from across the bank to gather and collate requirements and feed them into the design process, and gathering feedback and input from relevant subject matter experts on designs

The skills you'll need

As the voice of digital innovation, your creative spark will be key to improving our customer experience. That’s why we’re looking for someone with experience of working in an Agile environment, paired with the ability to deliver through a range of stakeholders in large, complex and changing environments.

Additionally, you’ll need:

  • Digital delivery experience, using Agile methodologies to develop and launch new digital experiences for business-to-consumer products
  • Knowledge of design thinking methodologies, tools and processes
  • Analytical skills to turn a range of complex data into clear, evidence-based recommendations
  • Knowledge of customer research techniques across a range of research methodologies
  • The ability to communicate, influence, inform and challenge internal and external stakeholders
