WAREHOUSE OPERATIVE (Days)

Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire

Part Time 22.5 hours per week
Monday to Friday, 9.30am to 2.30pm
Salary: £11.01 per hour

This is a great opportunity to work for the UK’s leading veterinary wholesaler.
Our business provides a next day supply and distribution service through our nationwide network of distribution depots, serving an average of 2750 customers every day!

This is a full-time opportunity for you to join our warehousing team in our Stoke-on-Trent distribution centre.

What you will be doing

· Count, verify and adjust inventory to ascertain our inventory accuracy

· Operate efficiently completing inventory cycle counts in line with policy

· Enter cycle count results accurately onto the ERP system

· Investigate and analyse inventory discrepancies to determine root causes for any inaccuracies

· Liaising with relevant departments to resolve any issues

· Provide clear and concise communication of any discrepancies and investigation results

· Maintain accurate documentation to support cycle counts

· Analyse product expiry dates and stock rotation

· Controlled drugs inventory checks and subsequent reporting of results

· Validation of overstocks in line with procedure

· Generate reports to assist with inventory management

· Characteristics of thoroughness, self-motivation and resilience and an attention to detail

· IT skills – IFS Experience beneficial

· MHE Training – LLOP, HLOP, Reach, VNA (essential – open to training)
