Counsellor/Psychotherapist

My Solution Wellbeing are looking for a Counsellor Adults Counsellor or Children Working Full time or Part Time to join our dynamic team. Working in the City Centre you will be working along side some of the best counsellors in Nottingham.

Able to work with patients from diverse backgrounds and age groups. We are looking for someone to work with adults and children.

Able to maintain confidentiality and boundaries and be professional. You will join our team of Practitioners to provide counselling to clients and families in need.

You will ideally have experience in counselling for adults and children and will ideally have a track record of managing your caseload. We work very closely with other providers to and you will be instrumental in offering support to our team to grow the talent of the future. Building relationships with partners and providers is fundamental to our continued success and you will be actively involved in developing the services for the future.

You must be willing to work in accordance with the BACP ethical and standard guidelines.

The ideal candidate will have:

Diploma or degree in counselling.

Excellent listening skills.

Excellent communication skills and understanding of complex difficulties.

Up to date knowledge of safeguarding procedures.

Experience of multi-agency partnership working but not essential.

Knowledge of other modalities

Counsellors will be responsible for conducting Initial Assessments with both adults / parent/carer and child, liaising as needed with other agencies involved in the client’s care to create a safe care package for every client.
