Auto Electrician

Due to our continuous expansion, MV Commercial have an opportunity for an auto electrician to join our friendly team on a permanent basis.

Responsibilities

Installation of electrical components; wiring looms, camera systems, lighting equipment and associated components to HGV vehicles and commercial vans.

Conducting fault finding and diagnostic work, as and when required

Good housekeeping & cleanliness generally and of own workspace

Adherence to H&S rules and regulations

Key Skills & Experience

Previous experience of working in an Automotive / Auto Electrical role

Ability to work under pressure and to specific deadlines

Ability to work independently and as part of a wider team

Excellent communication & organisational skills

A keen eye for detail, quality & a high standard of work

Experience & Qualifications

An experienced electrician, who can work independently.

NVQ or equivalent qualification would be an advantage, we are happy to consider applications for QBE (Qualified by experience), particularly if you have experience of working on HGVs.

UK driving licence an advantage

MV Commercial is one of the leading specialist vehicle suppliers in the UK and services & repairs vehicles from all leading manufacturers including DAF, MAN, Scania and Volvo.

We have our own on-site restaurant, which is open for use by all staff between 6am and 2pm Monday to Friday.
