Freelance CGI Illustrator for Retail Furniture

Job Description

A Retail Design Consultancy is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Freelance CGI Illustrator to join their team on a month-long contract basis, with the possibility of extension. As a CGI Illustrator, you will be responsible for assisting in the development of concepts and creating visuals for free-standing retail furniture using 3D Studio Max. You will work closely with the design team to bring their ideas to life in the form of realistic and visually appealing CGI renderings.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the design team to understand their concepts and visions for free-standing retail furniture.
• Use 3D Studio Max to create high-quality CGI renderings that accurately represent the design concepts.
• Provide quick, efficient, and high-quality work, while meeting project deadlines and working well under pressure.
• Understand how to expand or contract furniture pieces within a layout, ensuring accurate scale and proportions.
• Utilize your keen eye for design to ensure that the CGI renderings are visually appealing and align with the overall aesthetic and brand identity.
• Use your creativity and problem-solving skills to address any design challenges that may arise during the project.
• Maintain effective communication with the design team to ensure that their feedback and input are incorporated into the CGI renderings.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in CGI and 3D modeling techniques to continuously improve your skills and deliver high-quality work.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a CGI Illustrator or Visualiser, with a strong portfolio showcasing your skills in 3D Studio Max and CGI rendering.
• Solid understanding of design principles, scale, and proportions, with the ability to expand or contract furniture pieces within a layout.
• Proficient in 3D Studio Max and other relevant software for CGI rendering, with the ability to provide your own hardware and software for remote work.
• Experience in retail furniture design is highly desirable, with a deep understanding of retail environments and customer experience.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to work well under pressure to meet project deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with the design team and incorporate feedback into your work.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Attention to detail and a keen eye for design aesthetics.
• Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and work in a fast-paced environment.
