Position Overview & Specifications

Location: Derby, DE24 8BF (Hybrid)
Contract: Full Time (Up to 40 hours per week, Mon – Fri)
Salary: £18,000 - £30,000 (subject to experience)
Start: March 2023

Our Tours team in Derby are responsible for groups travelling all over the world for sports, ski or study.

The Role

As a Tour Coordinator, you’ll work directly with our customers to piece together all the elements of their booked trips. You’ll piece together extraordinary itineraries to include transportation, accommodation, excursions and live experiences, all the while delivering phenomenal customer service at every stage.

Attention to detail is essential, ensuring that trips go ahead without a hitch. You’ll need great customer service skills to build outstanding relationships with our clients and suppliers, and be able to work as a key member of the operations team. It’s fast paced so you’ll need to be organised, great with time-keeping and task management and be competent in using online project management systems.

You will report to the Operations Manager who will support and guide you to achieve your goals, and work towards achieving the business’s customer service and profitability targets. Your contributions will not go un-noticed, and are represented in the smiles of our customers as they return home. Our team know how to celebrate success together, as well as how to learn from our mistakes.

If you are motivated by delivering amazing experiences, have great organisational skills, love to problem solve and think outside the box, then this could be the perfect role for you.

Previous experience in an operational role is preferred, but demonstrating the essential skills and a love of travel are essential for us. A full training plan will be in place for your first 12 weeks to equip you with the tools you’ll need to excel in the role. We believe that the ultimate training plan is to get out and see the products and trips that we operate, so a desire to travel the world is a must!
