MPLOY is looking to introduce a full-time & permanent Warehouse Operative to a valued client in Dorchester, Dorset.

• wants to work in a highly successful and busy furniture warehouse/distribution centre. You can expect to be booking goods in, putting stock away, checking stock levels and picking/distributing orders. You’ll be a dynamic person that relishes diverse and interesting work. Also being handy with a screwdriver certainly wouldn’t hurt especially for those furniture work orders!
• has a UK driver licence with Category B designation. Experience in loading, unloading and driving a host of vehicles & vans, including Lutons, is highly desirable. The work can be heavy going at times so physical fitness is a key requirement for the post holder. You can also expect to be regularly booking deliveries and collections, delivering to customers & moving stock between our client’s showrooms.
• is a natural multitasker who can re-prioritise at short notice.
• is system savvy and IT literate. You’ll be comfortable with the Microsoft Office package, especially Word & Excel. You can also expect to learn warehousing functions on our client’s furniture retail system (Swan FRS). Not to worry full training will be provided!
• is an excellent communicator and is customer focused. You can expect to be a key point of contact for the warehouse and be customer facing when out on delivery.
• has an eye for detail, is a problem solver and is highly organised.
