Position Overview & Specifications

About The Role

We're looking for a Supply Chain Specialist - Store to join a large team based at our Head Office in Bradford. You'll be working closely with other areas of the business to ensure that all major projects are landed (New Stores, Franchise conversions).On occasions you will be required to work away for a number of nights as you'll be visiting stores across the country. The successful candidate will actively participate in running and improving the business team.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Oversee the conversion of McColl's and independent franchises to Morrisons Daily

  • Support the Store Support Team Manager to deliver all other key objectives

  • Support major projects by ensuring timelines and roadmaps are in place

  • Ensure robust communication processes between Store Support and key stakeholders during major projects such as New Stores, Fresh Looks, Seasonal Stores support and University Stores support

  • Provide hypercare support to ensure a smooth transition to business as normal for stores going through change.

  • Provide feedback to key stakeholders in the business around day to day availability issues

  • Manage and challenge inbound communication from stores on a daily basis

  • Provide key analysis data to other areas of the business for use in their projects

  • Act as subject matter expert on key supply chain systems and processes on an ongoing basis to help support the resolution of complex issues

  • Provide key engagement and support for retail sites to ensure systems and processes are used correctly and efficiently

  • Involvement in key availability improvement projects such as Greater London, Scotland etc

This role operates over a four day working week. This role is based at our fantastic head office in Bradford. Boasting an on-site restaurant, coffee shop, convenience and sample store, prayer room, free parking and regular company-wide events and promotions. Ideally, applicants will live within a reasonable distance of our office.

  • Strong excel and analysis skills
  • Understanding of Supply Chain principles
  • Experience of data management, management forecasting and interpreting trends
  • Previous experience in Retail
  • Previous experience of managing stakeholders of all levels
  • Full, clean driving licence
  • Have the flexibility to work away at short notice as and when required
