Position:

As a Junior Database Developer at more2, your primary responsibility will be delivering data projects using client marketing databases. You will assume technical ownership of these databases, ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of all assigned operational outputs and deliverables according to agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs).


Responsibilities include:


  • Execute standardised development project tasks assigned by team leaders
  • Maintain clear and effective communication on all assigned tasks and projects, promptly escalating potential issues or delays
  • Adhere to more2's coding standards for SQL, ensuring scripts are tidy at all times
  • Develop and follow process and procedure guidelines
  • Identify opportunities for enhancing existing systems, processes, and new products, presenting your findings to the team to drive continuous improvement
  • Understand the functions of other teams and the impact of job delays on them and clients
  • Comply with more2 policies and procedures


Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience working with Microsoft SQL Server and related technologies, including T-SQL programming
  • Proficient in interpreting and executing pre-defined processes and scripts
  • Strong understanding of relational database concepts
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel skills
  • Effective communicator with exceptional written and verbal skills
  • Highly organised with meticulous attention to detail
  • Logical and methodical approach to work
