Role summary:

This role is about leading and supporting the Commercial Applied Service Sales team to achieve our targets with national and regional customers. The primary purpose of this role is to develop effective business plans to ensure the budgeted sales targets are achieved or exceeded. This will be accomplished by providing strong leadership and management of the service sales team. By driving innovative and diverse service sales solutions we will accomplish our Ai25 goals.

Skills/Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring Commercial Life Cycle Solutions sales targets are met.
  • Improving the customer service experience by ensuring timely delivery of NDAs, PQQ and ITTs; logging all activity of the CRM system.
  • Supporting preparation of budgets and resource requirements.
  • A continuous improvement approach to existing and new processes –moving to an automated self-service model.
  • Ensuring a right ‘first time’ approach – removing the need for customer credits.
  • Coaching, training and mentoring the sales team.
  • KPI measurement reviews across all team members.
  • Encouraging growth from the team, supporting team members to do and be more.
  • Regular team meetings to discuss progress against targets.
  • Regular 121s and Advancement Appraisal Reviews.
  • Recruitment and training of new team members.
  • Developing new Initiatives to ensure improvements are made in line with growth targets
  • Analysing data, generating accurate reports and providing insight for senior management.
  • Developing service sales procedures, policies and standards.

Experience:

  • Service experience is critical
  • HVAC experience
  • Experience working with senior management level, with the ability to develop and implement a dynamic sales strategy that exploits existing and develops new market opportunities.
  • Possesses a proven track record of attaining new business and client retention, to ensure continued value is realised.
  • Strong delivery of results under pressure, bringing fresh thinking and fostering long term profitable relationships with major key accounts.
  • Experience in preparation and presentation of proposals, tenders and bids to corporate clients, articulating business benefits to be realised.
  • Highlighting performance and trend analysis to management and key business stakeholders.
  • Experienced at developing networking and influencing skills.
  • Knowledge and experience of dealing with commercial and legal contractual risk.
  • Proven track record of effective team leadership, management and delegation.
  • Performance management tools, techniques and people development skills.
  • Customer focused, with a commitment to service, quality, continuous improvement and the delivery of an excellent customer experience.
  • Strong commercial acumen and relevant commercial experience together with financial literacy and budgetary experience.
  • High emotional intelligence, excellent communication with ability to build relationships and deliver change.
  • Analytical with the ability to interpret, understand and act upon information and data from many sources.
  • Effective decision taker with high standards of personal and professional integrity.
