About the Role:
The Data Analyst (Shrinkage & Safe Stores) will be accountable for designing, building and maintaining data insights, analytics and reporting which will inform strategy and decision making.
About the role:
Your aim will be to accomplish data analysis, root cause analysis, the building and provision of targeted data insights. Reports will made for our Safe Stores team, Food Retail Operations teams and the wider society, ensuring all data mining and investigations comply with data protection requirements.
As the Data Analyst (Shrinkage and Safe Stores), your role will involve:
- Helping to shape future strategy by researching external best practise and building relationships with other retailers, societies and through leadership experts
- Communicating key trends and insights with the Shrink Manager, Safe Stores Team and food senior team
- Conducting Cash loss/Stock loss investigations
- Provide analytical support to on-going incident investigations
- Identify non-compliance opportunities and escalate as required
- Maintain accurate records of investigations, incidents and case outcomes and evaluate the effectiveness of reporting and current processes
This role is part of a team based from our Head Office in Warwick, with a mix of working from home and in the office, you will need to be able to travel into the office on certain days.
About You:
- Experience in working in a similar role using data mining tools
- Ability to manage and analyse large volumes of data in a retail environment is highly desirable
- High level of knowledge and experience of tools, techniques and strategies used to identify and manage internal and external fraud and risks within a Retail environment is highly desirable
- Collaborative, customer first approach and committed to proving first-class customer service
- Excellent attention to detail, strong analytical skills and good problem-solving skills
