Position Overview & Specifications
- Overseeing the successful day to day running and delivery of the Human Resources function
- Take a lead role in ensuring local compliance with Human Resources and employment related legislation in line with the client’s strategy, policies, procedures and processes
- Have strong Employee Relations experience to advise and support managers on staffing issues in the areas of performance management, redundancy, sickness, absence, conduct and capability.; escalating to the HR Business Partner and Snr HR Operations Manager as appropriate
- Provide first line advice and support to the local team alongside external HR Support teams
- Keeping up to date with Employment Law and owning any CBA agreements in place. Informing the HR Administrator of any updates that need to be actioned in the system.
- Supporting the business on long term sickness, working with Occupational Health and providing assistance to manager and employees.
- Providing monthly reports to senior management on holiday and absence, investigating any trends.
- Supporting employees with flexible working requests
- Development, and creation of key HR documents, policies and processes
- Ensuring GDPR compliance within HR and company wide regarding HR documentation and data
- Actively identify gaps, propose and implement changes to process and procedure to ensure we continually deliver a great employee experience
- Support the Business Partners and Snr HR Operations Manager with any ad-hoc projects or assignments
- Strong HR Generalist experience working at HR Advisor level.
- A credible, confident, self-sufficient person who is enthusiastic and thrives building relationships.
- An individual who is able to manage a heavy workload, prioritise and remain resilient
- You’ll have experience of employee relations and case management, including knowledge of UK and Ireland employment laws and regulations
- You will be experienced in handling sensitive matters with tact and diplomacy, you are comfortable having difficult conversations, working professionally and discreetly with sensitive information
- Excellent computer skills, with proficiency using Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel and HRIS systems, Workday experience preferred.
