MGC Developments is a family run business based in Wiltshire, that has a fantastic reputation for providing high quality and timely property improvements/ renovations in the South West.

Groundworkers are responsible for the physical labour involved in keeping our works running efficiently including the installation, maintenance and repair of concrete and utilities. Typical duties include general construction, setting out levels, excavation, backfilling and grading work. Our team of professional Groundworkers will be responsible for regular maintenance on location and must have a background in construction and civil engineering.

Responsibilities:

• Dig holes and trenches.
• Dig out ditches and clear culverts.
• Dig ditches and install water or sewer lines (utilities).
• For the removal of material using a backhoe, loader, or excavator.
• Build trenches and dig holes using hand tools.
• Use tools such as shovels, mattocks, picks, and hoes.
• Pour concrete in trenches and holes.
• Install poles, conduits, and other underground utilities.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £15.00-£20.00 per hour

• Groundworks: 5 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• Driving Licence (required)
• Digger ticket (preferred)
• CSCS (preferred)
