Mercer is seeking candidates for the following position based in the London office:

Bid Manager, Digital

• The Digital Bid Manager is accountable for coordinating and completing successful RFPs and Tenders for new and existing Clients, mainly for Darwin, Mercer’s Employee Benefits platform.
• You will report into the Digital Leader for UK & Continental Europe.

We will count on you to:

• Proactively curate and maintain Bid content, working with business subject matter experts where necessary
• Create question banks for RFIs and external collateral for use in RFPs
• Create and keep a library of best-practice content for the business to utilise
• Reactively respond to Bids across new business and existing client renewals
• Craft market-leading tender responses to help drive revenue growth
• Research clients, in order to tailor bid content

What you need to have:

• Previous experience as a Bid Manager in a SaaS business or similar industry, such as Tech, Software or Employee Benefits
• Ability to craft market-leading tenders for new and existing clients
• Strong copywriting skills to tailor bids to individual prospects
• A commercial mind-set with strong business and financial acumen
• Organized, with strong time management skills.
• The ability to deliver on promises, manage expectations correctly, set clear agendas & objectives, diligently and thoroughly prepare.
• Be a team player, living and breathing the culture of the business and an ambassador for diversity and inclusion.
• A proactive, passionate professional who demonstrates a ‘Just Do It’ mind-set.
• Have a winning mindset with a drive to continually improve and a willingness to be challenged & coached
• Strong verbal & written communication skills
