Auto PSV Electrician - Greenock

McGill’s Scotland West part of the McGill’s Bus Service Ltd group are the UK’s largest privately owned Bus Company. We employ around 800 employees within the Scotland West region with three locations based in Greenock, Johnstone & Inchinnan. We currently have a position available for a time served auto electrician at our Greenock depot.

The role is an exciting opportunity to join a forward thinking organisation and a great team where you will deal with a range of systems to diagnose and repair a variation of vehicles.

The successful candidate should be qualified in Auto Electrics, having previous experience working with software programmes such as Cummings insite, Volvo, Alison gearbox and Multi MUX software would be advantageous but not essential as fully training will be delivered to meet your training needs. The Main responsibilities are to carry out electrical repairs and diagnostics on company vehicles and to complete the appropriate paperwork signing off on repairs undertaken to the standards required by the Company.

Rates of Pay: up to £17.67 per hour.

Working Monday to Friday on a 40 hour basic week, with the opportunity of working overtime as and when required.
