Duty Restaurant Manager
Job Overview:
Our busy restaurant is seeking an experienced Duty Restaurant Manager to join our team.
The Duty Restaurant Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the hospitality industry, excellent leadership and communication skills, and a passion for providing outstanding customer service.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the daily operations of the restaurant, including managing staff, supervising service, and ensuring the cleanliness and safety of the premises.
Train, mentor, and motivate staff members, ensuring that they are knowledgeable about the menu and that they provide excellent customer service at all times.
Monitor and manage inventory levels, ensuring that supplies are ordered and received in a timely manner.
Manage scheduling and labor costs, ensuring that staffing levels are appropriate for business needs.
Respond to customer complaints and inquiries, resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
Ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and in good working order.
Develop and maintain relationships with customers, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
Enforce company policies and procedures, ensuring that all staff members adhere to them.
Qualifications:
At least 1 year of experience in a supervisory or managerial role in a restaurant or hospitality industry.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and staff.
Strong leadership and management skills, with a proven track record of motivating and managing teams.
Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work effectively under pressure.
Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve issues quickly and effectively.
Strong attention to detail, with a focus on maintaining high standards of quality.
Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Salary: £6.82-£11.00 per hour

- Dunstable: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
Experience:
- Restaurant management: 1 year (preferred)
- Bartending: 1 year (preferred)
- Serving: 1 year (preferred)
