Graphic Design Intern

We are seeking a driven Graphic Design Intern to join us for a 6 month internship. The successful candidate will work alongside our Senior Graphic Designer and Marketing team to develop and create a variety of marketing and promotional materials. This role will be of great benefit to those looking to apply a wide range of graphic design skills in a business setting.

We offer a supportive and collaborative work environment, where you will have the chance to work on exciting projects and develop and apply your skills. You will be an integral part of the Marketing Department and gain essential hands-on experience to further your graphic design career. You will be guided and mentored by the Senior Graphic Designer to ensure you get the maximum benefit from your internship.

Your responsibilities

• Design visual ads and posts for social media channels, predominantly LinkedIn.
• Produce key graphics for company website.
• Collaborate with the Marketing team to conceptualize and develop marketing campaigns and visuals.
• Assist in animated and motion graphic video production.
• Produce company-wide key documents and graphics.

Requirements

• A recently completed degree in graphic design or closely related field.
• OR last year student
• OR otherwise a strong self-initiated route into graphic design
• Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator.
• Familiar with Microsoft PowerPoint and Word.
• Strong understanding of layout and typography.
• A creative and strategic approach to design.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Experience with or a desire to learn Blender would be beneficial.

This position is paid at a rate of £23,000 per annum, or £11,500 for the total duration of the internship. The start date is flexible but is expected to be within April/May.
