Writer for Social Science / Geopolitics YouTube Channel (remote)

Your role

We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic writer to create engaging scripts for our YouTube channel focusing on Social Science / Geopolitics topics. The writer will be responsible for ideating topic ideas, and writing scripts for both long-form and short-form videos.

Key responsibilities

• Develop engaging topic ideas for the Social Science/ Geopolitics YouTube channel
• Write high-quality scripts for both long-form and short-form videos
• Collaborate with the video production team to ensure scripts align with the overall vision for the channel
• Research and fact-check information before including in scripts
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in Social Science and Politics topics
• Ensure all scripts meet channel standards for quality, accuracy, and entertainment value
• Revise and update scripts as needed based on feedback from the team

What you add to our crew

• A strong interest in Social Sciences and Geopolitics
• Excellent written communication skills with the ability to write engaging and entertaining scripts
• A keen attention to detail, including grammar, spelling, and punctuation
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Ability to visualize scripts for video production
• A willingness to take feedback and make revisions as needed
• A desire to continuously improve and learn about new developments in the industry
• A proven track record of writing for video production is a plus
