Active Campus Coordinator

LSBU Active is currently recruiting for an Active Campus Coordinator to join our team during the launch of our brand-new Sport and Fitness facilities at the heart of our Southwark Campus. We offer a wide range of services for Students, Staff and Community Members.

Exciting work you will do

LSBU Active aims to inspire the development of our students and community through sport and physical activity. You will support continuous improvement of service delivery, maintain health and safety compliance and work closely with the Fitness Manager to deliver a high-quality customer journey, supporting all members in the achievement of a healthy lifestyle.

You will act as health and fitness activator with the main responsibility of engaging with our customer base through group and individual fitness activities, from leading exercise sessions, writing programme and delivering health related workshops.

The skills and experience you will need to be successful

You must be committed to delivering first class customer service, with relevant experience in the fitness industry. You will be fully conversant with current health and safety legislation in a fitness setting and have appropriate fitness qualifications.

Details about the role

This post is offering a permanent contract on a full-time basis. The successful candidate is required to work a shift pattern that covers the operational hours of the service. You will need to be a team player able to demonstrate an enthusiastic and flexible attitude to work hours.

You will be required to complete a Criminal Records Disclosure form in line with Section 115 of the Police Act 1997.
