CNC Machinist - Lathe Turner

We are looking to recruit a CNC Turner (lathe) to work in a busy machining center operating a Mazak Lathe with live tooling and sub-spindle producing components for a wide range of sectors.
What you’ll do:

• Operating and setting a Mazak CNC Lathe
• Use precision measuring equipment
• Achieve daily targets
• Work within tight tolerance settings

What you’ll need:

• Previous experience in a similar role is desirable - training will be given.
• Experience in live tooling and sub-spindling is an advantage
• Be able to read and interpret technical drawings
• The desire to learn new machinery

What you’ll get:

• From £13.50 to £16 per hour (DOE)
• Monday to Thursday 07:30 – 16:00, Friday 15:00 finish.
• 25 days holidays plus bank holidays
• Overtime paid for the 1st 2 hours a day at time and a third and time and a half thereafter
