Duties will involve: welcoming groups, setting up material in advance and packing away at the end, supervising the handling of original artefacts, encouraging and motivating pupils to take part in discussion, providing feedback to the Museum team. A typical on-site session will last approximately 4 hours and require delivering the same session three times. Sessions are usually run 9:30 – 13:30/14:00.
Facilitated Digital workshops last 30 – 45 minutes each, but usually several run in a day. These require to present to a class over Teams, though the class will have been sent several items to interact with during the session.
There may also be additional shifts available Front of House/in our giftshop facilitating visits from the public and operating the till.
Full training will be provided.
