HGV Class 1 Milk Tanker Drivers

Class 1 licenced driver needed to work out of our busy depot at Wyke Farm Dairy, in Bruton, Somerset. The is a day time shift position staring a 06:00, full time, 11 hour shift, permanent milk tanker driver. Be a part of a friendly team involved in the bulk collection and transportation of raw milk from local farms to various dairies.

Applicants are required to have a HGV Class 1 licence, however must be be willing to drive both artics and rigids. Work a 5 on 3 off rota. which will include some weekends & bank holidays.

The ideal candidate needs to be a team player with a positive attitude. You must have no more than 3 points on your driving licence and have a valid Driver CPC and Digital card.

Duties involving collecting milk from farms and delivering it direct to the dairy for processing, keeping all lorries clean inside and out, completing required daily paperwork and defect reporting.

As most of your work will be carried out on your own, you must be self-motivated and be able to work independently

· To be able to work collaboratively with others when necessary to get the job done.

Whilst experience in our sector is valued it is not essential as full training will be provided.

28 days holiday.

Wyke milk tanker drivers salary £33,333 increasing each year, there is overtime always available....for example £170 to work an extra Saturday shift.
