The Home Care Support Worker role will involve looking after clients in their own homes in Edinburgh ; providing high quality care to our clients by supporting them in their day-to-day personal care and living tasks and also providing companionship. Immediate start, full training given.

Job description

• Assisting clients with all aspects of personal care including toileting, cleaning, bathing, dressing, and undressing, whilst ensuring optimum independence, dignity, and respect of individuals.
• Providing dining experience for the clients, assisting to serve meals, beverages, and encouraging clients requiring additional attentions while having meals.
• Providing activities according with the care plans of the client, particularly the less mobile ones.
• Assisting clients with restricted mobility to move to communal areas or to return to their bedrooms as requested, using the correct moving and handling procedures as per the policy.
• Practice safe systems of work across a range of tasks in particular moving and handling of loads and ensuring the policies and procedures are adhered to all the times.
• All other tasks as required to uphold the quality of life of our clients who need support.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary contract
Part-time hours: 12-48 per week

Salary: £11.50-£15.00 per hour

Day range:

• Every weekend
• Monday to Friday
