Job Role
We are looking for a Pharmacy Delivery Driver that can assist the pharmacy team in running an efficient and highly effective delivery service for our customers.
Use of own vehicle is required
You will support the Pharmacy team, ensuring deliveries get to the right patient on time, and all information is passed to the customer correctly. It is vital that prescriptions are delivered efficiently and securely.
You will be required Monday and THURSDAY 1-6.30pm (8-10 hours a week) PLUS HOLIDAY COVER spanning across Monday to Friday
We are looking for drivers who can be flexible to meet our customers’ needs. Your basic hours will be between 8-10 hours a week PLUS HOLIDAY COVER
This is more than just being a delivery driver - You will be handling important medication and ensuring it gets to where it’s needed. You’ll be taking it to some of the most vulnerable people in our society. You’ll know how important it is to make sure this is done carefully and safely. Customers know you; trust you and they will rely on you to make sure they get their medication when they need it.
Please note that due to the nature of this role, the successful candidate will be required to complete an enhanced DBS check before employment can commence. Employment is conditional on satisfactory DBS clearance.
Requirements
- Must have a clean valid driving licence
- Must be professional, punctual and have a good caring manner
- Excellent communication skills
- Use of own vehicle is required
- Previous pharmacy work an advantage but not essential
