Parts Advisor, Harley-Davidson Watford

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Parts Advisor to join our experienced team at Harley-Davidson Watford and become part of the renowned LIND family.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience within the motorcycle / automotive trade, full training both within the dealership environment and manufacturer premises will be provided.

This role will require you to interact with our Customers, so, standard service is simply not enough. You will genuinely want to take ownership of their needs, wants and desires, and you’ll want to get fully involved with dealership events and rides, both on and off site.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Assist in the running of a busy Parts, Accessories & Merchandise department
• Customer facing role
• Gain in-depth knowledge of Parts & Accessories and availability
• Order goods for customers and ensure consistent updates are given to the customer
• Ensure that daily budgets are met Servicing the workshop
• Technicians with parts Producing quotes for the Sales Department
• Inventory checks
• Listing items online via our website and other media
• Ensuring deliveries, returns and orders are secured and on time

The successful candidate will:

• Hold a Full UK Motorcycle Licence
• Have an interest in Motorcycles
• Have previous experience working in a Parts team
• Have a desire to be close to our Customers (we ride too, and we regularly attend events, social meetings and rallies)
• Be a team player and foster strong inter-departmental relationships
• Have strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Be self-motivated, ambitious, professional and forward thinking
• Be focused on achieving goals
• Have the ability to work within a defined parts process
• Have a desire to have fun!
