SUMMARY


As FP&A Senior Analyst your role will support in producing the analysis for strategic decision making and be responsible for business partnering with the budget holders and senior leadership to provide accurate information.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES


Support the FP&A function in providing robust financial analysis to enable the function to support senior management and the leadership team

Help the FP&A team translate project level inputs into its Group budgets and forecasts

Facilitate the management of the budget and forecast data within the core financial systems and help drive the adoption to new business analysis technologies

Work with business managers to forecast potential CAPEX spend per project

Play a role as a key communicator between finance and other teams across the organisation

Help lead the change in standardisation of monthly reporting techniques of the FP&A team and be a focal point for the build out of FP&A’s data analytics tool kit

Assist in preparation of board and management packs for the leadership team as required

Assist the FP&A team and wider business with any ad-hoc analysis as required


EXPERIENCE


ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified professional with 1 – 3 years post qualified experience

Demonstrated experience with business intelligence tools

Ability to translate complex data for a non-financial audience

Ability to apply critical thinking to financial scenario modelling

Prior FP&A experience or commercial finance experience in an data rich analytical environment

Highly organised individual with the ability to work on several projects at once

Able to work efficiently and effectively under the pressure of tight deadlines

An excellent communicator with the ability to tell a story and go beyond the analysis

Strong investigatory and analytical approach with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy

Solid team player with a collaborative working style

Problem solving and proactive attitude

Fluency in English is essential
