Trainee Pipe Organ Tuner

I am looking for an individual with a keen ear for music and if possible knowing the notes on a piano keyboard.

Training can be given.

You will start by learning to hold the keys whilst the tuner is inside the organ making adjustments to the pipes.

Once an understanding of key holding has been grasped, training on the complexities of tuning pipe organs will begin.

For the minute I am looking for someone who can do one or two days a week, but for the right candidate this may lead to a full time job given time.

Must be practical and agile and have that ability to look at something and see how it works. Attention to detail is key.

A full UK driving licence will eventually be required.

Our base is in Trowbridge, Wiltshire, but travel over the whole of the West Country.

Trainees rates begin at National Minimum Wage for your age.

Part-time hours: 8 - 16 per week

Salary: £6.70-£10.42 per hour
