The team is remote based, working from home across multiple parts of the country. They regularly communicate virtually, working collaboratively to develop multiple products. The Role
Liaison are looking for a recent graduate ready to launch their career in software development. You will be mentored to work in an Agile way on a cutting-edge Microsoft cloud-based stack to deliver world-class applications.

Principal Tasks & Activities
  • Learn and apply agile commercial software development processes, practices and tooling.
  • Develop strong skills in the Microsoft tech stack (C#, ASP.NET, Entity Framework, SQL and Azure Cloud).
  • Develop strong developer testing skills and working practices with the Testing and UAT teams.
  • Build API methods and website components that consume these.
  • Read and write database content, files, and Azure storage.
  • Help shape the conventions the team uses to ensure high quality code that the whole team understands.
  • Contribute thoughts and ideas in daily stand ups to move projects forward.

Experience
Essential:
  • Recent university graduate.
  • Understanding of object-orientated programming and the SDLC.
  • A passion for software development.
  • An open mind and strong desire to learn commercial development practices.

Beneficial:
Any well-founded fundamental knowledge of any of the following:
  • ASP.NET C#
  • Entity Framework
  • RESTful Web API
  • Clean Architecture
  • Angular 2+ TypeScript
  • CSS and Bootstrap
  • SQL
  • GIT (or other source control system)

  • Azure Cloud
  • Agile process

Skills & Competencies
  • Demonstrable experience of software development.
  • Professional attitude, work on own initiative and as part of a team.
  • Able to propose and support ideas.
  • Motivated to work to set deadlines.

Qualifications & Training
Essential:
  • Undergraduate level Degree qualification in Computer Science or Software Development (or equivalent).

Beneficial

  • Masters level qualification in Software Development (or equivalent).
