Position Overview & Specifications

Graphic Designer

We’re aiming for LeMieux to be the ultimate destination for equestrians around the world. Built with quality at its heart we want to be accessible, yet aspirational for both new and existing customers.

This role is perfect for a talented Graphic Designer, to join the LeMieux creative team. Based in our Romsey head office and reporting to the Head of Customer Experience within the Marketing and Creative Team.

The Graphic Designer will conceptualise and deliver innovative and cutting-edge creative campaigns across all of the LeMieux digital channels. Your design work should capture the attention of those who see it and communicate the right message. For this you should have a creative flair and a strong ability to translate requirements into design concepts.

Key Responsibilities:

· Develop creative concepts and designs for both digital and print media, including social media graphics, website designs, marketing collateral, and packaging design

· Working as part of the creative team on brand campaigns – defining, shaping and realising innovative ideas through digital design.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create compelling visual content that supports our brand's marketing objectives

· Design and produce visual content that is optimized for social media platforms and other digital channels

· Develop and maintain our brand's visual identity and ensure consistency across all marketing channels

· Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand, being comfortable with an iterative feedback and amends process

· Take on special design tasks and retouching (e.g. colour correction)

· Organise and sort image files and related creative assets within our creative asset management system.

· Use feedback from other designers and team members to improve.

· Take part in brainstorming meetings and creative sessions.

· Collaborating with other areas of the business to support their channels / needs when required.

The successful Candidate will have the following attributes:

· A minimum of 2-3 years’ design experience, particularly with, but not limited to web, social, and emerging technologies.

· A strong portfolio of design work.

· Strong understanding of design principles, including typography, layout, and color theory

· Familiarity with design software and technologies (such as PhotoShop, InDesign and Illustrator).

· A keen eye for aesthetics and details.

· Excellent communication skills.

· Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment.

· Degree in Design, Fine Arts or related field is a plus.
