We have a fantastic opportunity for you to join our international freight forwarding company as a Transport Planner at our Head Office located in Normanton, West Yorkshire. LEMAN UK is part of the LEMAN Group and employs over 100 staff across 2 depots in the UK.

What we expect:
- Allocate import jobs and coordinate with drivers
- Plan export loads in line with departures.
- Communicate operational issues in a timely effective manner
- Assist with enquiries from colleagues, subcontractors and drivers in a timely effective manner
- Book trailers onto ferries
- Manage trailer allocations
- Ownership of internal invoicing allocated to assigned jobs
- Approving external invoices
- Liaise with UK and overseas colleagues regarding departures and load plans
- Internal administration of trailer hire
- Adhere to all legal requirements and company rules
- Work in accordance with the CSR policy and procedures as relevant to the job role
Qualifications/ Experience:
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft office
- GCSE in Maths & English
- Some experience from a similar environment preferred
- Good communication & customer service skills
- Ability to work under pressure & cope during high volume peaks
- Good team player with ability to work on individual tasks
- Ambitious with a view to progress within the company·
- Demonstrates a cooperative spirit and contributes to a positive and supportive working environment
- Is customer-focused and ensures the right outcome for the customer
- Responds to requests on time and in the right way
- Thinks in terms of solutions not problems
