Dining Assistant - Weekends (Abbey House)

Leicestershire County Care Ltd has been successfully running Residential Care Homes within the Midlands area for over 10 years. We are currently seeking a Dining Assistant/Breakfast Server for a vacancy within Abbey House, Care Home.

Your key responsibilities in this role will include, but not limited to;

• Taking orders for breakfast from the residents ensuring that choices are offered
• Serving breakfast to residents
• Support with feeding where appropriate
• Serving drinks to residents
• Setting up eating areas with crockery and cutlery
• Promoting hand hygiene before eating
• Ensure a good dining experience for the residents
• Advise the Home Manager and Care Services staff concerning any changes in a resident’s dietary habits, in particular reporting and noting any instances where a resident refuses food
