Legacy Hotels and Resorts Limited have a rare opportunity for a Bartender to join our high calibre team in a well-established global brand. This role will drive the opening of the brand-new Novotel Liverpool Padding Village. Upon opening, the hotel will boast 221 bedrooms across 16 floors, a variety of sophisticated meeting rooms, a 53sqm Gym and ground floor coffee shop.
Casual all-day dining options include a restaurant and bar with panoramic views of the River Mersey as it stretches out to the Wirral Peninsula. Liverpool continues its growth as a vibrant city with an abundance of character, a fantastic UK location for business and leisure travellers, The £1bn Paddington Village development will sit at the Eastern gateway to the city centre.
Role Overview
As Cocktail Bartender you will be responsible for the day to day running of the brand new bar on the second floor of the Novotel Liverpool Paddington Village. You will provide exceptional service and be creative in your work.
Duties and Responsibilities include:
- Provide exceptional quality service to guests in a quick and efficient manner in line with hotel and brand standards
- Organise and orchestrate the opening, operation, and closing of the Bar Lounge
- Always have a good working knowledge of all beverage products - particularly wine, liquor, and signature cocktails as well as a good working knowledge of all food products.
- Creating cocktails to suit the guests and make their experience special and memorable
- Control all wastage and record it
- Comply with all regulations under the Health & Safety at Work Act, Fire Act and COSHH
- Report any accidents to the duty manager
- Ensure lost property is handed in to the duty manager
- Attend training sessions and staff meetings
- Other duties as specified by any of the management team to ensure the smooth running of the hotel.
