English Language Teacher

Langauge UK seeks conscientious, versatile and enthusiastic teachers to join our team in Canterbury for the summer period, 6 month fixed term contracts with the possibility to extend. 15 hours of teaching per week with 3 hours of paid prep time, and extra overtime hours available.

Teaching English to junior groups and/or individual students, as well as adult learners.

Requirements for EFL Teachers:

We welcome applications for teaching positions from candidates with CELTA, DELTA or equivalent Trinity qualifications. We also welcome applications from candidates with PGCE or higher education certificates in relevant subjects such as Education, Linguistics, Pedagogy, SLA etc. Newly qualified CELTA teachers are welcome to apply and will be provided with mentoring and continuous training throughout your time with us.

You must be able to teach a communicative approach and clearly explain aspects of the English language and display a positive attitude both inside and outside of the classroom. You will be able to creatively adapt materials to suit specific levels and students needs and implement a positive and constructive teamwork ethic. Salary: £16.00-£18.00 per hour
