Laboratory Assistant - Bioanalysis

A global life sciences company that brings diagnostic testing and drug development together and as a Laboratory Assistant you will play an essential part in making this happen.

Working in the Bioanalysis department based at Alconbury, Cambridgeshire the responsibilities include:

• Maintaining and ordering adequate stocks of consumable items

• Assist with specimen shipments

• Assist with booking in and disposal of test items

• Helping maintain laboratory records

• General housekeeping to maintain cleanliness and tidiness of laboratory area

Education:

• GCSE's including Science, English & Maths desirable

Experience:

• Prior laboratory experience and awareness of laboratory techniques desirable but not essential as full training will be given

• Good organisational skills and planning

• A focus on quality with good attention to detail

• The ability to work as a team and communicate well with a variety of different people
