Graphic Designer Associate – Based in North Hertfordshire £23,000.00 to £24,000.00 depending on experience

We are currently recruiting for a Graphic Designer Associate to join our Printing and Embroidery company based in Hertfordshire, supplying clothing and accessories to a variety of large corporate customers, events, and individuals. We are a family run business in the trade for 33 years and have a large and growing client base, supplying some of the largest organisations in the world, as well as, fashion brands and everything else in between.

The position will be joining our graphic design team, being responsible for creating and preparing artwork/visuals for the sales person to send onto our customers for approval before work is sent to production. Liaising with other departments and customers, meeting deadlines are all part of this role.

You will need excellent creative and communications skills and need to turn our customers designs and logos into fantastic visuals for them to approve. We work on a tight turnaround and are always looking for new and better ways to consistently deliver results and delight our customers at the drop of a hat.

We are looking for an individual with graphic design knowledge, confident in working Adobe suite, including Photoshop and Illustrator, and strong visual skills with an eye for detail.

Main Duties

Provide visuals to both internal and external customers

Think creatively and develop new designs, graphics and visuals

Liaise with Printers and Embroiders in production team

Contribute to marketing assets necessary for socials and comms

Requirements

Creative Flair and a sharp eye for detail

Be self-motivated and carry out duties with minimum supervision in a very fast paced office, assisting our graphic designer

Be able to prioritise visuals into level of size requirements to enable deadlines are adhered to with our graphic designer

Strong communication and organisation skills

Good initiative, common sense and passion for customer service are key attributes to this role

A good understanding or social media platforms

This role is a Monday – Friday position with working hours of 9.00 am to 5.30 pm with a One hour lunch break. 20 days holiday a year
