Warehouse Operative

We are recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join our friendly Northern team.

What do we do? Komfort divide spaces by designing and manufacturing internal glazed and solid partitions with integrated door sets.

What does the role entail? Working as part of the Firescreens Department primarily but also in support of the Leeds business unit, this role will provide a key link to ensure all materials are ready for dispatch.

The duties will primarily be working in the Leeds warehouse assembling Firescreens post fabrication and prepare them for dispatch to site.

Main duties

· Final assembly of doors following fabrication

· Picking of materials for collating delivery stillages

· Managing incoming & outgoing deliveries

· Stock control

· Using fork-lift for accepting /loading and decanting deliveries (FLT Desirable)

· Collecting materials from fabricators & powder coaters (using company vehicles)

· Installation of maglocks & specific ironmongery to doors

· Organisation of warehouse storage to comply with health and safety policies

· Occasional deliveries to support Leeds branch

· Some site work in support of fixing team

Skills / required experience

· Assembly experience (preferred)

· Site experience (Preferred)

· Forklift licence (Desirable)

· Good problem-solving skills

· Good attention to detail

Candidates must be willing to obtain a fork lift truck licence (funded by the business).
