Position Overview & Specifications

An excellent opportunity has arisen to join Kingdom Cleaning as a full time working Cleaner / Supervisor, at a site in Wembley, HA9 area.

Wembley Park (surroundings of Wembley Stadium) area.

External role - Litter picking, waste removal, driving sweeper vehicle. (Winter clothing provided) Applicants must have a clean manual driving licence.

This role is permanent.

Hours: 40 hours per week, 8 hours per day, Sunday to Thursday, 06.00 - 14.00.


Pay rate: £12.50 per hour.

Responsibilities: A Working cleaner / Supervisor will be required to:

Reporting directly to the Contract Manager, the purpose of this role is to provide and deliver best value, quality cleaning. Through completing duties to the BICSc standards and site specifications as required in the cleaning schedules.

Keep assigned areas, external, commercial, industrial, or institutional buildings, in clean and orderly condition. Work successfully with fellow employees and others. Understand and follow instructions, both verbal and written

  • Ensure safe working practices through implementation of company, BICSs & client Health & Safety standards.
  • Ensure the delivery of cleaning meets agreed BICSc standards & site specifications through the completion of cleaning schedules.
  • Carry out any cleaning and associated tasks as per your allocated schedules, assisting all members of the cleaning team during absences.
  • Perform work assignments on your own or as part of a team with other employees.
  • Demonstrate customer service and customer satisfaction skills.
  • Perform repetitive tasks.
  • Take directions and respond to the Manager.
  • Talk to the co-workers, managers, and customers in a professional manner.
  • Maintain clean and safe area of work.
  • Ensure all work orders are responded to quickly and efficiently within agreed SLAs.
  • Wear and maintain Kingdom work wear & PPE as provided.
  • Demonstrate a high standard of personal hygiene and personal appearance.
  • Ensure regular attendance and punctuality, following company procedures for holidays and sickness.
  • Meet company expectations in relation to conduct and performance.
  • Ensure cleaning equipment is cleaned, stored, and kept in working order.
  • Follow all company procedures, policies, and rules.
  • Reports accidents and incidents to the Manager immediately.

Example of tasks include but are not limited to:

  • Vacuuming, sweeping, Dusting
  • Refuse removal.
  • Window cleaning
  • Empty recycle boxes
  • Remove cobwebs
  • Floor mopping
  • Clean glass
  • Pick up refuse/ litter.
  • Wipe down sinks, partitions, and stainless steel
  • Transport waste/litter to proper disposal areas
  • Polish metal & woodwork
  • Report lights out, damage or repair work required to the supervisor.
  • Timesheets
  • Reports in the end of each day to the manager

The following skills are also essential:

1) Must be experienced in cleaning operations

2) Must be able to demonstrate clear leadership abilities

3) Ability to work accurately and efficiently, and take responsibility for the team’s output / standards

4) Must be flexible and able to work as part of a team

5) Committed to delivering a high level of customer service in all dealings with internal and external customers.

6) Must display high professional standards.

7) Have good standards of written and oral English
