Position Overview & Specifications
We are seeking a Bar & Coffee Shop Assistant (Food and Beverage Assistant) to join our busy Catering department.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience of working in a busy food and beverage establishment or bar (essential), while experience of cash handling and till reconciliation would be advantageous.
You should also have:
- Basic Food Hygiene qualification (essential).
- NVQ Level 1 in Catering & Hospitality (desirable).
- A flexible attitude and approach to work and methods of work.
- Effective interpersonal skills in order to liaise with internal and external customers.
- A clean, tidy and presentable appearance.
And be:
- Honest, reliable and hard working with the ability to work under pressure.
- Friendly, able to work as a team and work between food and drink service areas.
Salary: £17,656.80 per annum (£22,071 FTE inclusive of bonus) plus benefits (pay award pending)
Contract type: Permanent, part-time, 30 hours per week to be worked on a rota including weekends and evenings
