The starting salary for a Trainee is £26,000 pro rata increasing to £29,000 pro rata after you have passed your probation period. If you are experienced, the salary ranges from £28-£33000 pro-rata depending on qualifications plus bonus and referral fees.
There is a company car or car allowance (£444 per month) pro-rata, 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays pro rata, core hours Friday/ Saturday/ Sunday/ Monday - 0900 – 1700, Laptop, iPad, and mobile phone, LifeWorks Employee Assistance Programme for you and your family, Private Health insurance (after a qualifying period) and high-quality ongoing training and career progression opportunities.
Elite Appointments are working in partnership with this employer of choice to recruit for either a registered HAD or HCA or will train an individual with clinical experience gained from another sector, such as Phlebotomy, Practice Nurse, Dental Nurse etc., with an interest in joining the Audiology Sector.
You will be providing a range of audiology services and referring customers to the Audiologist for a hearing test.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting wax removal
- Fitting hearing aids
- Puretone audiometry testing
- Full patient support
- Liaising with GP’ to gain referrals
- Contacting companies to promote the services offered
You need to have:
- The ability to attend an overnight residential training course
- Registered HAD, HCA, or suitably accredited aural care professional (not essential)
- A well-planned and structured approach to workload.
- You will be a member or be prepared to become a member of BSHAA
- Hold a current driving licence
- Good IT skills
