Providing free specialist palliative care through a range of services to the people of Mid Staffordshire since 1989, Katharine House Hospice exists to offer the best care so that people in our community, affected by progressive illnesses, can live life to the full. Primarily a voluntary organisation, we are supported by donations from the local community and the services of over 600 volunteers and 250 staff.

We are seeking to recruit one or two Housekeepers to help maintain the high standards of cleanliness at Katharine House Hospice, ensuring that all cleaning work within the Hospice is carried out in an efficient and timely manner.

Previous cleaning experience is essential with knowledge of cleaning within a clinical environment an advantage.

The successful applicant will need to be flexible in their availability for work between 7am and 7pm weekdays and 8am to 7pm at weekends, however shift patterns will be agreed in advance. The ability to be flexible for additional hours for holiday cover etc would also be an advantage.

Please note, an enhanced DBS clearance will be required for this role.
