An exciting new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Junior Mammographer to work in a reputable, exceptional private hospital based in the South Kensington, London area. You will be working for one of UK’s leading health care providers
This is private hospitals which offers treatment for both adults and children, and are dedicated to providing world-class care to patients
**To be considered for this position you must hold a BSc or DCR in Radiography as well as a Post grad certificate in Mammography**
As a Junior Mammographer your key responsibilities include:
- Participate in providing a high quality mammography service for the screening programme and symptomatic service
- Have highly developed physical skills as a high degree of precision and speed, and a high level of hand, eye and sensory coordination is essential
- Organise and prioritise the daily workload efficiently, ensuring that all patients are seen promptly and on time
- Accountable for own professional standards by being responsible for maintaining a high standard of imaging and patient care always
- Ensure safe operation of the equipment and patient safety
- Ensure the delivery of an effective and efficient service to meet the needs of the patients and the clinicians
- Undertake Quality Assurance testing to ensure equipment is operating optimally, highlighting problems in advance to minimise downtime
The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Previous experience within a high-end healthcare environment advantageous but not essential
- Excellent organisational skills
- Good IT skills including Word and Excel
The successful Junior Mammographer will receive an excellent salary up to £41,000 per annum. This exciting position is a Full Time role working 37.5 hours a week. In return for your hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits:
